Praise for Welcome Home . . . I can't tell you how thrilled I was to receive your book in the mail today. It's great! I've only browsed thru it as I haven't had time to devour it yet, but I love it already. I will display it proudly and use it I am sure . . .
As ever,
No, there is no reason why you would recognize my name, as you and I have never met. But . . . We now have a connection! Your book, Welcome Home, was gifted to my mom (Midge Heryford) by Shirley Beck who is a good friend of your mother-in-law, Muff. Mom and I thoroughly enjoyed looking through the book and we have tried or at least written down several recipes. But neither one of us has a young family, and your lovely book really needs to be used by those with a growing family. In the past year I have come in email contact with a young missionary couple in Perm, Russia, who have two young girls and another baby on the way, so your book was sent to them. Lora and Vlad Treskin are their names, and they are ministering to people in the heart of Russia. Anyway, I am enclosing the thank you letter I received from Lora when she received your book, and also a newsletter that talks much about them. I just thought you would like to know your book has an international audience (maybe it did before this too)!!
Love in Christ Jesus, Dear Annette! It was so pleasing to get the greatest book ever from you and mommy Midge! I mean Welcome Home book by this wonderful lady Liz Furman. It is such a cherished gift, thank you so much for thinking and caring for me this way. I love this book from the first glance. I am so pleased to see your mommy and yourself holding the book and Tagua hiding in the kitchen corner. Your mom has a very nice kitchen and the nicest daughter! You both a such lovely people, my dear!
Love you so much my dear Annette.
Lora,
What a beautiful, happy book you made. Thank you - it is a joy to read. It is full of such colors and pictures and great stories and loving advice. It made me happy and a little sad at the same time, as it made me remember the wonderful, magical times when my children were small. I am so pleased that you did a book that will help moms who are in the children-rearing stage to think about their precious little ones and how blessed they are to have them. This book tells how to love them and have fun times with them. For older moms like me, it brings back some wonderful memories. It is so much more than a recipe book . . . all recipe books should be like this . . . maybe I would have enjoyed cooking more! You put a great deal of yourself and your love for your family in this great little book and it shows. The book is an absolute delight - thank you! Joan Zarlengo
I wanted to let you know how much I have appreciated you over the years, you have shown such love caring and kindness to me. As I sit and read your book I feel so thankful for your willingness to share your nuggets of wisdom. I want to sit and read and get lost in your book. But instead I am slowing pouring over your book and gaining so much from it. I can honestly say, that every time I pick up and read your book . . . I'm either crying or smiling ear to ear. God has truly gifted you with the ability to reach out and touch the hearts of other women. I knew it from the retreats, but is more evident in print. Thank you for writing this book. It is truly, sincerely touched me in my heart to the core of my being. Thank you, Thank you, Thank You. Jin Voelkelt
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed your new book . . . Welcome Home. You are truly a lady with heart. I, too, love Autumn the best. Your book offers so much . . . prayer, projects, recipes, but most of all, the love and caring of someone who respects and cherishes our families. Reading through your book actually gave me chill bumps, because secretly I wish I would have such a unique idea myself. Thank you for sharing this beautiful compilation with me. It was very inspiring!
Fondly, |
